ACROSS

Irene, die in den italienischen Alpen in einer Familie
aufgewachsen ist, die mit der Reise- und Pfadfinder-Kultur
verbunden ist, begibt sich nach einem Besuch der Grabtuch-
Ausstellung in Turin auf die Suche nach ihrem religiösen Weg.
Die Reise führt sie zu spielerischen Begegnungen und kleinen
Offenbarungen - ein wahrer spiritueller Roadmovie.

Irene, cresciuta nelle Alpi italiane con una famiglia legata
al viaggio e alla cultura scout, approfittando dell’esposizione
della Sindone a Torino, parte alla ricerca di un percorso religioso.
Inizia un viaggio fatto di incontri giocosi e piccole rivelazioni,
un vero e proprio road movie spirituale.

Irene, who grew up in the Italian Alps with a family
linked to travel and scout culture, takes advantage of the
Shroud exhibition in Turin and sets off in search of a religious
path. She begins a journey made up of playful encounters
and small revelations, a true spiritual road movie.

Irene Dorigotti è un'antropologa visiva, con una laurea in Antropologia Culturale ed Etnologia presso l’Università di Bologna e una presso il Dipartimento di Scienze Politiche e Società della Cultura dell’Università di Torino. Si occupa di cinema e scrittura di racconti. Le sue aree di ricerca includono la percezione sensoriale, il tempo, la spiritualità, l'antropologia urbana, gli immaginari e i metodi sperimentali, l'estetica radicale e la pratica etnografica. Tra i suoi lavori precedenti: Apnea (2019), Herz‐Jesu‐Feuer (2021), Ora sono diventata foresta (2021) presentato a Filmmaker nel concorso Prospettive, Le Grand Reve (2022) invitato al Trento Film Festival.

Irene Dorigotti ist visuelle Anthropologin und hat einen Abschluss in Kulturanthropologie und Ethnologie von der Universität Bologna und einen von der Abteilung für Politikwissenschaft und kulturelle Gesellschaft an der Universität Turin. Sie arbeitet in den Bereichen Kino und Storywriting. Zu seinen Forschungsgebieten gehören Sinneswahrnehmung, Zeit, Spiritualität, Stadtanthropologie, Imaginationen und experimentelle Methoden, radikale Ästhetik und ethnografische Praxis. Zu seinen bisherigen Arbeiten gehören: Apnea (2019), Herz-Jesu-Feuer (2021), Now I Have Become Forest (2021), der beim Wettbewerb Filmmaker in the Perspectives vorgestellt wurde, Le Grand Reve (2022), der zum Trento Film Festival eingeladen wurde.

Irene Dorigotti is a visual anthropologist with a degree in cultural anthropology and ethnology from the University of Bologna and another from the University of Turin, Department of Political Science and the Society of Culture. Her interests are film and story writing. Her fields of research include sensory perception, time, spirituality, urban anthropology, imagery and experimental methods, radical aesthetics, and the practice of ethnography. Her previous films, among others, are Apnea (2019), Herz‐Jesu‐Feuer (2021); Ora sono diventata foresta (2021), which competed at Filmmaker in the Prospettive section; and Le Grand Reve (2022) selected for the Trento Film Festival.
