Wir schreiben das Jahr 1918. Zelinda, ein Mädchen deren Mutter tot und deren Vater im Krieg ist, muss ihre Kindheit hinter sich lassen. Stattdessen muss sie sich um das Haus, ihre Geschwister und das Vieh kümmern. Eines Tages stellt Zelinda fest, dass sie wieder eine Mutter und einen Vater hat.

È il 1918. La madre di Zelinda è in cielo, suo padre è in guerra e lei vive da sola in campagna. Deve lasciarsi alle spalle la sua infanzia e prendersi cura della casa, dei suoi fratelli e del bestiame. Zelinda si rende conto di avere una madre e un padre.

It is 1918 and Zelinda is a girl living in the countryside, whose mother is in heaven and her father is at war. She has to leave her childhood behind and take up instead the burden of the house, her siblings, the cattle shed and the livestock. One day Zelinda realises she has a mother or father.

Simone Massi wurde am 23. Mai 1970 in Pergola (PU) geboren, wo er noch immer in einem alten Landhaus in den Hügeln der Marken lebt, weit weg von der Moderne, weit weg von den Kreisen, die zählen. Der ehemalige Fabrikarbeiter wurde an der "Scuola del Libro di Urbino" ausgebildet und hat in mühsamer Kleinarbeit die Bilder seiner Filme eins nach dem anderen konzipiert und gezeichnet. Er hat Animationen kreiert und inszeniert, die auf Festivals in 75 Ländern der Welt ausgewählt wurden. Er hat mehr als 300 Preise gewonnen, darunter einen David di Donatello, drei Nastri d'Argento, einen Flaiano Award für die Animation des Dokumentarfilms La strada dei Samouni und den Oeil d'Or Award bei den Filmfestspielen von Cannes 2018. Invelle ist sein erster Spielfilm.

Simone Massi è nato a Pergola (PU) il 23 maggio del 1970, dove tuttora vive in una vecchia casa di campagna tra le colline marchigiane, lontano dalla modernità, dagli ambienti che contano. Ex operaio, formatosi poi alla Scuola del Libro di Urbino, ha pensato e disegnato uno per uno i fotogrammi dei suoi film in un lavoro faticoso, minuzioso. Ha realizzato e diretto animazioni selezionate nei festival di 75 Paesi del Mondo. Vincitore di oltre 300 premi, fra cui un David di Donatello, tre Nastri d'Argento, un Premio Flaiano per l’animazione realizzata all’interno del documentario La strada dei Samouni, Premio Oeil d’Or al Festival di Cannes 2018. Invelle è il suo primo lungometraggio.

Simone Massi was born in Pergola (PU) on 23 May 1970, where he still lives in an old country house in the hills of the Marche, far from modernity, far from the circles that count. A former factory worker, he then trained at the "Scuola del Libro di Urbino" (Urbino School of Book), and has conceived and drawn the frames of his films one by one in painstaking, painstaking work.
