Wir begeben wir uns auf eine essayistische Reise nach Bosnien, wo einstige Kriegsschauplätze zu Touristenattraktionen geworden sind. Es ist eine ambivalente Tour zwischen Dark Tourism und empathischer Erinnerung: Während manch einer zu Kampfspielen an die ehemalige Frontlinie lädt, versuchen Andere, das Beste aus ihrem traumatischen Erbe zu machen.

Ci imbarchiamo in un viaggio dal tono saggistico in Bosnia, dove i vecchi teatri di guerra sono diventati attrazioni turistiche. È un tour ambivalente tra Dark Tourism e ricordo empatico: mentre alcuni invitano i turisti a giochi di combattimento lungo l'ex linea del fronte, altri cercano di trarre il meglio dalla loro eredità traumatica.

We embark on an essayistic journey to Bosnia, where former sites of war have become tourist attractions. It is an ambivalent tour between dark tourism and empathetic remembrance: while some invite visitors to play fighting games on the former front line, others try to make the best of their traumatic legacy.

Georg Zeller, 1973 DEU.

Georg Zeller ist in Stuttgart, Deutschland, geboren. Nach seinem Studium an der Filmschule ZeLIG in Bozen und der Hochschule der Künste, Berlin arbeitet er als Regisseur und Kameramann, vor allem im Bereich Dokumentarfilm. Er hat jahrelang die Produktionen der ZeLIG betreut und ist als Dienstleister für Filmproduktionen in Südtirol und Italien tätig. Zeller ist Ko-Präsident der FAS - Film Verband Südtirol.

Georg Zeller è nato a Stoccarda (Germania). Dopo aver completato gli studi presso la ZeLIG Scuola di Cinema di Bolzano e la Hochschule der Künste a Berlino, lavora come regista e direttore di fotografia, soprattutto nel campo del documentario. Per molti anni ha curato le produzioni della ZeLIG, si occupa di servizi per le produzioni cinematografiche in Alto Adige ed è Co Presidente della FAS - Film Association Alto Adige

Georg Zeller was born in Stuttgart/Germany. After completing his studies at the ZeLIG Film School in Bolzano/Italy and the Hochschule der Künste/Berlin, he has been working as a Filmmaker and Cameraman, above all in the documentary field. He oversaw the productions of the ZeLIG for many years, has worked as a Film Service Provider in Italy and is Co-President of FAS - Film Association South Tyrol.
